Retailers will tell you anything if it makes a sale. Btw, I have a nifty chrome ringed Pentax L39(UV) SMC filter I've just discovered has a warm tint to it. Are UV filters supposed to be clear? Or is that how the UV filters work, by being just warm enough to cancel the far blue end of the spectrum? Dan Scott
