Willy :) I told you it was arguable, and trust in you to take me up on it! :) I'll learn one of these days! :) I'm a relative newcomer. I'm no "Pro" and even when I try to look like one, I know I'm a poser. However these things I do know, first, if the competition has 7 fps and you don't doesn't mean you aren't competitive. It's not a race to have the 'best' equipment, it's a race to get the best picture. Does 1 fps between cameras mean anything? What if it is fast enough for my 'pro' needs? Did Ansel Adams have a EOS 1v consistently shooting B/W landscapes at 10fps? (Don't bring format into this please :)) Would that have improved his pictures? Or does his photos suck because he wasn't using the latest most popular Nike/Nikon-like camera? As for clients, don't they judge you and your work from a portfolio? If they like the results, only someone 'vain' like me (lol) would care. Anyhow, as I said, non-Pentaxians have said it's just as good as their F5, etc. With that one sentence isn't that summing it all up? Last thing, "PRO" means making a living off photography, generally at least? With skills you could do that with a Pentax. Also, as I read magazine after magazine, the one thing I've only really learned is that top "pros" are switching and using DSLRs. To them, 35mm means nothing. So ya, it is arguable because my pro is different to your pro and others will have other ideas of what makes a pro. OH YA! BWAHAHAHAHA :) (Thanks Mishka) You'll love this: Could you beat me in the 100m sprint with specialized Nike shoes while I had noname brands? You'd look like a "PRO", and have 'PRO" equipment, but the result (hint, photograph) would leave me looking like the "PRO" (heh...just in case you wonder I was one of the best sprinters in my province in high school....why I use the analogy dumb as it is :) I am bracing for the slaughter! Dr. Evil. (with love) (Oh ya, I asked a lot of questions there, please don't answer them all, I have enough to read...pretend some are rhetorical :)
