FWIW, the word from my Pentax rep is that Pentax is officially working on a DSLR. It's *not* a full-frame one apparently, and will probably be around 5-6MP (that's the working model right now). It's allegedly slated for either announcement or release at PMA, *not* Photokina. Obviously I can't speak for the accuracy of this, but I'm passing it along to feed the flames of controversy. :) chris
