I've got a post I've been putting together about that very place!
I didn't know the magazine average ratings were there. I've been going to Klause's photozone to read the Pentax forum and to look at and particpate in the lens survey. Any of you that have an opinion on a piece of glass you use should do the same.
This is the equipment survey section, from which you can select the lens survey (or any of the others), inorder to or just read the ratings that are up:

Here's my highly condensed summary which was set up using a monospaced font, if it looks crappy try switching to Courier or its equivalent on your system:
C 1 ... reviewed by; less than five
O reviewers, (05) no ranking
L 2 ... rank on a 0.01-5.00 scale;
U low = :( �not so good
M HIGH = :) �better!!!!!

That's my summary of the overall ranking of just the Pentax lenses; the actual ratings on the site give the score for performance wide-open, stopped-down, flare resistance, vignetting, build quality, color rendition and so on. And you will see the same info for all the Pentax compatibles that are listed.
So, if anyone is still reading�what do you think? Is this right on or way off base?
Has your favorite lens been slighted or a dog you know been elevated beyond it merits?

Any of you that haven't been there should really visit the site, http://www.photozone.de/ . And especially the lens survey. http://www.photozone.de/bindex2.html . Lots of good Pentax lenses, like the FA 31/1.8 ltd have to few ratings to earn a rank, or aren't even on the list because no one has filled out the survey.
