Thanks, Cotty... All good, well reasoned points indeed. But the costs involved! When I think of my Pentax lenses, taking a quality and image-making back seat to no-one, and for fractions of what Canon lenses cost! Sighhh. An aside -- I enjoyed going thru your site once again, and some of the images you've saved over the years. Well done, Sir! ;^)
