Nope, those are, as you said, definatly on the bottom. Matter of fact, I
thought that little plate was supposed to hold a battery until I checked
on it.

However, based on what somenoe said in the previous message, the bottom
tripod socket does have the additional hole that's directly in line and
BEHIND the socket, as does the side tripod socket. So, if that's teh
"accessory for stabilization," then I'm really lost as to what this thing
on the side is..

Another question.. I've read there's adapters to use 67->645 lenses, and
then there's adapters for 645->K mount.
A 75mm 645 lens mounted on a 645 has the same angle of view as a 50mm 135
lens mounted on a 135 body. If I mount a 75mm 645 lens on a 135 body, I
presume I'll have the same angle of view as a 75mm 135 lens, yes? Do
things like auto aperature work with an adapter, or do I have to do
stopped down aperature metering (I know, that's the incorrect term)?
