Ok, I think we're all getting carried away here. We have no way of knowing exactly what words Paal's friend's boss used when telling Paal's friend, or exactly what Paal's friend told Paal, or even precisely what Paal meant to say when he wrote that. It sounds like a misunderstanding or an exaggeration. Pentax won't be switching over purely to digital, not even for their SLR's, simply because there's too huge of a price gap between film and digital. They may cut down on their p&s film models, since they're finally getting some competition from Olympus and Canon in that area, but that's it. Pentax will continue to produce film SLR's.
