I'm new and still young, don't have a fantastic collection to speak of, but
I resemble that remark about bodies!!! ;-)

Photography is damned expensive!  You are too correct.  From all I've
seen/read/heard, photographers are a weird bunch, guess why I fit in so
well.  Just like goalies in hockey are a bit odd.  Am I the only one that
has hassles with security guards at various places or sometimes cops at
night.  Geez, what do they think I'm doing with a tripod and camera at
night?  Using that as a cover for looking for bodies? <vbg>  Of course they
have to come over and check it out, and you just have to spew some technical
nonsense about photography for them to walk away disinterested :)
