Well, I'm not looking for a new camera - I just didn't know the MZ-7 was
discontinued.
BTW - here in Poland, the MZ-7 is higher priced (more often than not) than
the MZ-6 (when they are in stock, that is - these cameras sell extremely
well here). Go figure.

No prob.  You might still be able to find MZ-7's in stores for clear-out
prices if you want.  The MZ-6 is an improved camera, offering spot
focusing, 11 custom functions, 1/4000 shutter, 1/125 flash sync, DOF
preview, and a spot meter.
