Hi Pal, I do not know if I remember correct but I think you photograph aurora borealis on slides with your MF ? The main problem with the flatbed scanner is the lesser max. density than film scanner. I do not think that you get good enough shadow details especially if you use Velvia. You should really try to find a place where you can try the scanner ! Andreas
