I can see it now: Early morning light, the golden glow highlighting the
rough stucco surface up close, the cathedral windows on the front of the
hose in the background catching a glint of the light. Definitely a 35mm lens
shot (you can borrow mine if you don't have one.) Portra 400VC. I find the
Portra NC to be very like the NPH, maybe the Portra NC is a bit more
faithful in skin color rendition. The VC I don't see as "contrasty" but
rather as a bit more saturated. For what I am visualizing, it would work
well. Though I would also try NC, the more subtle pastel shades could work
well for this also.
