Hi Paul and all I like the idea of using an interval timer for photographing a flower unfolding or growing - something like that. But i nerver used the one on my PZ-1 (PZ-1p doesn't have it). But, I have a Jessop Power Winder (Model P-1TR) works with my Super A and P5 and can be used with ME as well. It works pretty much like the MEII-winder, even though it's not Pentax quality. It has a timer. Not as advanced, but still a timer. You can choose between 5, 30, 60 secs or 5 minutes. And is has a socket for remote (cord) control. Thought you might want to know...
