The item I think most of is the interval timer.  This was a derivative of a 
special stand alone unit for the MX and it became an expensive (US$160+) back 
for the SF-1/SF-1n.  It allows you to set a future start time plus an 
interval and take a set number of pictures.  Put your camera on a tripod and 
take a picture every hour for the next 36 hours.  Set the interval to 5 
minutes and take 30 pictures over the next 2 1/2 hours of the party.

The other thing I remember is green or tyro mode.  The PZ-1 becomes a P&S.  
Here you can be set up with a program AE line for landscape, action (faster 
speeds), or best MTF function for the lens.  It kind of reminds me of the 
P5/P50 interface.

Yeah Bob, I'm aware of those features. I've never used the intervalometer 
although I have thought it would be good to capture a nice sequence of a 
flower opening over the period of a couple of hours...
