Well Ken, instead of wasting my time bitching, I just bid (if I can afford
it of course). If you had even the slightest embryonic glimmer of
comprehension about the world of a postgraduate student you would indeed
know that we live in a state of almost perpetual poverty. I see objects of
desire and enjoy expressing my delight that these objects are available for
those who are lucky enough afford them. If you think that others are not
aware of these auctions, and will bid an item up to market value anyway,
then you keep enjoying that little fantasy of yours. Thanks Brad for asking
for apologies to personal insults that are indeed, quite unwarranted.

As for keeping things simple Ken, if you want insults hows this? Get
stuffed!

For those who are civil, I apologise if I have infringed upon your
'gentlemen's agreement', and will indeed refrain from alerting others of the
fine Pentax items that are worthy of us all, and not those who hover over
their keyboards like squirrels hoping to purchase a bargain. An as far as
not being interested in the item in question, which I might add we seem to
have strayed from a little, I am very interested in that 200mm SMC-A* macro.
I more than any would like to pick one up for a song, but it isn't going to
happen anytime soon. Case in point. An original unused boxed LX sold for a
considerable sum just recently having had over 1,000 people look at it. If
you were one of the 999 who didn't win, then by definition you are a
loser.... and it didn't matter whether the whole world knew or not. I put a
bid in on this LX, and got creamed. 'C'Est La Vie, my friend. (That's
French for 's$#t happens' d%#kwad).

Please Ken, don't bother to reply to this missive. To be honest, I simply
don't care. In another month or so, I'll be Dr. and you'll still be a rude
insulting example of all that is wrong with this planet. If you must have
the last word, be my guest. I have apologised for the insidious nature of my
misguided actions. Let's just be grown-ups now shall we, and leave it at
that. Life's far too short to so bloody serious all the time...

We all know what BS means so I guess PhD stands for Piled higher,
Deeper. Therefore, I will try to keep this pretty simple. There are
many PDML list members who meticulously glean the offerings on Ebay
searching for the rare Pentax item or for the expensive Pentax item
which they normally couldn't afford unless it is at a bargain price.
Many put in considerable time and effort in their search. They someone
who isn't interested in the long sought after item comes along and
announces it to all those people who expend no effort at all. That
seems to be a bit inconsiderate by those who have paid their dues.
When was the last time you announced an offering that you wanted to
buy?
