Has there ever been a time when anyone has asked to have someone's
subscription be cancelled? It seems so childish, but then, surely
unsubbing someone would be a way to begin moderation.

True, I agree, except ISPs are exceptionally touchy about AUP violations,
I should know, I work at one, and sysadmins, support reps, and the like
take great delight in slapping down errant users, its one of our few job
perks, that and reading your email....)
