There are people US Pentax employees who follow the list to some degree. (The limit is probably the realization that they are the distributors for a product that raving lunatics buy.) There is also the sense that people on the list just don't understand how things in Pentax work. By this remark I got that distributors have a lot less to do with what Pentax Japan does than what we may think. As in they do what they want. I sensed a certain amount of frustration on the rep's part.
