Hi All,
Here are my favourite entries from this months PUG. I wish I wasn't so lazy
(busy?) as I'd comment on all of them - they just get better each month. The
one thing I realise more and more is how I wish I could see the originals. I
mean if so many of them look great at 100dpi, image what they're like on
paper.

"A Winter S" - Ken Waller
The flow of the image is what caught me on this one. I actually did one of
those comedy "double takes" when I realised what it was. (from the thumbnail
I though it was something completely different) Composition, framing,
contrast and a raw feeling. Great work!

"The Explorer" - Facit
I love it. It tells a story, it captures a moment, and could almost be an
analogy for life. I'd say this is one of the photos that will be cherished
by your child as well.

"To Leave it now" - Thibault Grouas
Your right about the photo inspiring various feelings. For me it's almost
spiritual... the man seems almost to float in the frame. It also begs so
many questions. Who is he? Why is he leaving? What's in the bag? (Please
don't answer :-))

"Parked" - Bob Poe
Bob, I don't care if you think it's a "thing" you're going thought - I think
this is one *great* photograph. What's that quote? "Good photographers
borrow others ideas, but great photographers steal"

Cheers,
Simon
