Since we're talking 3rd party lenses in the 28-105 zone. I did own the 28-85
Tokina ATX lens. Good lens, well built like all Tokina ATXs. I sold it along
with a Vivitar Series 1 lens (28-90) to get the Pentax 28-105 FA lens..
Anyhow now I just picked up a 28-105 Kiron for a very reasonable price. I
love the build quality and optics of Kiron lenses. I also have the 105/2.5
macro. Anyway there is dust or maybe black fleks from the inside of the
barrel just behind what appears to be the front element. I doubt it effects
the lens in any way (We all get a little anal about these things don't we?).
Question #1 anyone care to give me some feedback about whether dust or black
fleks will have any effect?
Question #2 Is it worth getting the lens cleaned or attempting the cleaning
myself..
