I've gone as light (and often so!) as just the ZX-5n with the A50/1.4 and hood, with some film. Perhaps the FA28-70/4 along. I've also gone with just the -5n, aforementioned two lenses, and a Yashicamat 124G. On my last trip to the zoo, I took the -5n, FA28-70/4, a Quantaray 70-300/4-5.6, A50/1.4 and 645 with A75/2.8. Added a monopod with a too-heavy ballhed, AF280T, K mount reverse ring, Cokin P kit and cable releases.. Oh, and that "film" thing. I need to get me a 645 reverse ring, and I'd be set. When I haul the view camera out, I'll take it, as well as the three lenses I have for it (111/135/210), about a half dozen film holders, tripod, cloth, P kit, other sundries. I'll add on top of that a 35mm camera, often without the battery grip to shave a bit of weight off. -- http://www.infotainment.org <-> more fun than a poke in your eye. http://www.eighteenpercent.com <-> photography and portfolio.
