Don't forget to use the compensation dial for dark or light subjects.

I use my LX for macro in many different ways:
        1. 105/2.5 Vivitar S1 Macro
        2. Bellows A and 100/4 SMC Bellows lens (straight and reversed)
        3. Various extension tubes
        4. Reversed lenses
        5. Combinations of the above

All the above I use with and without flash (mostly TTL flash with a 280T).

I have the FB1 - FD1 combination and it is a TON better than using the FA1.
The FE1 is supposed to be even better.

I try to take extreme closeups of bugs with flash hand-held. I'm trying to
improve my reaction time to get the shot when the proper parts are in focus.
I'm also trying to improve my composition.
