For the last year I have had an AF capable macro system and I still fail to see 
where the advantage lies, I still focus manually 95% of the time. My criticism 
has nought to do with speed etc it's simply that it's rare that the AF finds 
the spot where I need it to focus, be damned if I'm going to focus - compose - 
shoot on a tripod and rails.
