The PZ-1 & Z-1p have the same mount. The Adaptall mounts were designed before the AF cameras were available. I don't believe Tamron redesigned the mounts for the new cameras, since they changed their lenses to AF with fixed mounts. I sold my Z-1p just because I was getting better results with my manual focus cameras/lenses. Also, Im now embarked on an MF crusade. Love those 6x9 negs/trannies. Jeff.
