Any lens can be reversed, even without a bellows. There's a formula, I'm
sure,t hat tells you how this works, but I don't know it. I do k now,
however, I've routinely flipped my 50 around sans bellows, as well as an
FA35-80.

The 50 works, for the most part, fine. The 35-80, at 35, has a strange
flare pattern in the middle of every shot it took. I'm actually looking
forward to flipping the FA28/2.8 around to get some ridiculous
magnification and find out if that weird flare appears, as well.

So, the M50/2 is a flat field design? Is the A50/1.4, as well? Howsabout
the FA50/1.4?
