Visual aids really help -- especially for a visual person like myself. :-) It also explains the swirlies I was getting with my Vivitar zoom when it was at the max, 200mm. I presume better zooms somehow compensate for the sphericalness of the lens (if it is sphereical) when at the max. Doe adds reversing ring and bellows to camera and photography wish list. And notes that this list just seems to keep growing. 1. Telephoto zoom and/or prime. 2. Better tripod. 3. Experimenting more with slide film. 4. Finding a better lab (one that does not use internegatives). 5. 50mm 1.4. 6. Reversing ring. 7. Bellows. 8. Another photography class (already signed up). 9. Going on a photo tour with John Shaw or someone similar (a real wishy wish) some day (or a workshop). 10. Tons of lenses (which she doesn't know enough about yet). 11. Getting a photo published someday, even just as a reader/user contribution... Doe aka Marnie ;-)
