Hi Stephanie, Unmoderated lists are like this they go through waves, high volume/low volume, mostly on topic/mostly off topic and of course world issues of the day do creep in to become topics of discussion. Many of us have been here a long time (me over 5 years) and many of the age old photographic issues have been debated to death so sometimes we stray. As you have seen there are at times non-conformist posters who rile what is otherwise a pretty passive list WRT the the level of animosity. So I guess all that I am saying in a strange sort of way is that you have to take the good with the bad or none at all and frankly once you've been here a while you'll hopefully realize that there are enough helpful and very knowledgeable people here to make sticking around worth the effort.
