I can understand the advantages of somethinglike ths, it does make it even easier to do Av from the body. The humble little ZX-50 has a switch on it. In Tv, moving that switch will cycle through the shutter speeds. In Av, moving that switch will cycle through the aperatures. Its quite easy to use, and doesn't require you touch the lens, which means les shifting around, as well. Of course, teh -50 doesn't allow you to set the aperature ring off of A. It would be nice if I had the choice of manipulating from the ring OR a switch on my -5n. Alright, perhaps not the -5n, asd that sort of clutteres it up a bit, but I can see how this would be a desirously thing from a body like teh ZX-L which isn't really built in that same retro, clean, minimal style of the -5n. As usual, I can't speak for the MZ-S. Never saw one. -- http://www.infotainment.org <-> more fun than a poke in your eye. http://www.eighteenpercent.com <-> photography and portfolio.
