Nope. It's gonna vary from screen to screen and from viewfinder to viewfinder. Best guess by me, probably 2 stops or more before you can get a really good idea. The other uses of DOF (checking bokeh, flare and vignetting), these are things best checked at the shooting aperture, so having that lever is a good thing. I can't judge DOF very accurately with it is all. William Robb
