I used to own property on Andros - that went to my ex-wife when we split. I learned to snorkel there and spent many hours over and around the reefs on the NW end of the island.
For one of my Optio 330RS + WP case shots, see the <Sint Maarten> folder at <homepage.mac.com/smh645> All of these shots were with the 330RS; "Dinner?.jpg" and "waiting for school" were with the waterproof case on. I was quite disappointed at first with the color and the amount of haze in the pictures, but found that a simple click on "auto level" in Photoshop Elements restores much of the color that I could see in the scene. I used to have a Nikkonos and was also disappointed with those pictures; after seeing the Photoshop results, I am tempted to pull those slides out and see what is behind the haze. Unlike you, I did use the Pentax-supplied strap with the WP Case and found that the camera tried to float away, even with the supplied "bouency compensation" weight and even in the very shallow depths where I was swimming. Thanks for the images and the commentary on them. Stan
