NTFS 1) has better security (especially on shared computers) 2) runs faster when new 3) doesn't fragment over time like FAT or FAT32 do ... it still fragments a little, but not like FAT or FAT32 and doesn't impact performance as much 4) uses the disk more efficiently (less wasted space) 5) folders that can be compressed (treats .ZIP files like subdirectories) TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
