I've made many 12 x16 prints from 35mm E100VS, and the grain is nearly
invisible. In 6x7 format it is certainly not a problem.

This was true of Ektachrome EPS and other early versions. I have not
found it to be the case with E100S or E100VS.

I recently shot a red car, using both Provia 100F and E100VS. I
bracketed in 1/3 stops, and found that the difference in saturation is
negligible if minuses the Provia exposure by about 1/3 of a stop.
However, I still prefer the Ektachrome, as it's hue more nearly matched
the true color of the automobile.
