I'm a serious computer geek, but a middling amateur photographically. For the past couple of years, my photography has mostly been about technical goals. Specifically, trying to do a decent job of sports car racing photography: panning, shutter speeds, appropriate DOF, tradeoff between sharpness and feeling of motion, etc. > All my "serious" prints are > done on Ilford Fine Art paper. The few matte papers I've tried gave colors that were more muted than I thought appropriate, compared to the original scene. I've never tried any of the Ilford papers, though. I haven't found them available locally, and I don't like to mail order small lots of stuff due to shipping costs. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
