I don't think it would have been made by Pentax. Pentax did provide a few primes at the time of the XR series lenses (28/3.5 & 200/4 for sure, maybe others) but these were lenses "already made" by Pentax. There is nothing equivalent to the 28-100mm in what Pentax was offering. But who knows? "Somebody"???a good lens? nice flare resistance? sharpness? was it made by pentax for ricoh?
