For my week in southwestern Utah I took along two LXs, one with an FA1 and the other with an FF1 (the latter recommended by Rob "bad influence" Studdert).
The FF1 is very convenient (and very bright) after becoming accustomed to the reverse view. However, I did notice that after several hours of hiking, I tended to take photos about 3 degrees off the horizontal. (Thank goodness for Photoshop.)
Verticals with an FF1 also take a while to become accustomed to, but you do.
