I couldn't find anything in the RFC (1035) that says that TCP recursive queries should be handled this way, and based on this old post: http://mailman.powerdns.com/pipermail/pdns-users/2005-November/002835.html I'd say it has been a bug for over a year, can anyone confirm this?
