I have just started working with PDNS 4.0.1 (with LDAP backend),
installed on CentOS 7 from the suggested repo.
Installation went fine, but I am facing this problem:
No matter how I try, pdns (and pdns-recursor) insists on logging to
/var/log/messages and not to the configured facility (tried 0,5,6).
Has anyone faced this issue and/or can suggest a solution?
/etc/rsyslog.conf:
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none;local0.none;local4.none
/var/log/messages
...
local0.* /var/log/pdns.log
...
/etc/pdns/pdns.conf:
...
logging-facility=0
loglevel=3
log-dns-details=off
...
