Great summary Jon. > > Some things discussed were: > - PDXLUG's relationship to (and presence at) OSCON and FOSCON, if any Robby, are we getting a booth at OSCON this year? Is there anything I (or others) can do to help? Dan had some excellent ideas for a PDXLUG presence at OSCON or FOSCON, and I'll let hem expound on list. A couple of other thoughts - there were continued interruptions from a couple of people as Jon was trying to talk about his ideas for the Hackfest, and Dan was trying to talk about his ideas for OSCON/FOSCON. I've always thought that common courtesy was good enough, but perhaps it's time to have some meeting rules when serious stuff for the whole group is being discussed. Second, I could use some positive reviews for my book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0596008015/ on Amazon, or even better, on Slashdot. If you think you might be interested in writing a positive review, email me your mailing address (direct to michael at mommabears dot com), and I'll ask O'Reilly to send you a copy directly.
