Does anyone have information/resources on getting Suse tied into a Linksys wireless network? I'd be using an internal PCI WMP54G wireless NIC.
Take a look at Seattle Wireless. They have a lot of good info regarding wireless networking. The biggest question is whether or not you wireless card is supported in linux. Check the hardware comparison list ( http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/HardwareComparison ) and see if your card has anything good or bad said about it. If your card is supported, then they generally aren't too hard to setup. Find the drivers, load them, use iwconfig (wireless-tools pacakge) to associate with an AP, and then ifconfig to bring up normal networking. I'm sure SuSe has some pacakge or tools to handle most of that for you. However, I don't use SuSe, so I can't really help you on that part. Good luck.
