Which kind of goes back to my original question.  Why are we trying
to make Linux easy for new users?  Why don't we focus less on 
grandma and more on large corporations that really need it?  There
it doesn't have to be so "easy".  It will just be easy to support
for people who know what they are doing.

I'm for changing the industry and cleaning all of the crap out. 
This is what is slowing acceptance of Linux in the first place.
I talk to so-called computer engineers out there and they still tell
me that Linux is text-only!  This is what they are telling their 
managers, and so corporations are not adopting this old, hard-to-use
and (according to Microsoft) slow operating system that users can't
use.

Of course, my view might be a bit skewed since my company is dedicated
to Linux adoption in companies.
