My girlfriend has a laptop and she complains about the battery charge on
occasions. I know that there are some ways to optimize Linux for laptop
use but I am not familiar with this myself.

She is running Fedora Core 2 on the machine and what sort of things
should I look into in trying to find ways to help extend the battery
charge?

Thoughts/suggestions?

Also, what are some good wifi cards for laptops that is fairly easy to
get setup in Linux?

Thanks in advance,

Robby
