Im not using a 486 but close. It's probably going on a 333 mghz.  I also
made sure to check that my isp will allow me to use the service ports.  But
it probably would be nice of me to make sure that I don't set up an open
relay box.  That might get my smtp port closed by my isp. hehe

Most people have them running all on the same box. Especially for personally
use..wouldn't worry at all.. (unless it's like a < 486). ;-)

One thing to consider is that your personal internet connection has the
proper ports open. Some ISPs block port 25 to avoid spammers taking
advantage of open relays and such.
