A live demo should help with the interest level -- showing people the good, the bad, and the ugly on a running system will hopefully motivate a few more to join the cause. I would say that we could let the thing cook for another month until it was more polished, but I fear that bit-rot would set in before long, and we'd have a hard time getting folks moving again.
