IIRC, the 'merd' language designer has done a very deep comparison of  
multiple languages, related to syntax and technique:

This may not be what you were looking for, but it will probably help  
you get there. :)

I was speaking more in terms of projects we as a group could take on that would help the community. I know there are other resources out there already and was only suggesting that we contribute something of our own.
