I would like to show up at 2nd and Davis on Tuesday evenings to do some Ruby. So Ruby group, is that a consistent event every Tuesday evening?
Well, not really. Ideally, yes. But, even in the ideal case, we probably wouldn't have the event exclusively at Old Town Pizza. For instance, tonight I will be at Lucky Lab Brewpub [1], for this week's impromptu hackfest. You are encouraged to swing by and ask questions :).
By the way, I hope I'm not imposing on the collective goodwill of the group by sharing my troubles and tribulations with regard to getting Ruby on Linux on a laptop to work.
It might be better aimed at the PLUG (Portland Linux Users Group) [2], but there are some rubyists that are sympathetic to Linux questions, myself included.
