Here's the guidelines from Manning, if you're interested:
Review Format Write an in-depth review consisting of at least
three paragraphs or more. Include what the book covers, the target
reader, how well it covers the topic, such as clear writing style,
logical sequence, etc. Also include strengths and weaknesses and
compare it to other competing titles you have read, if any. Please
publish your review at your group's website, your blog, an online
bookstore, a popular programmers's site, in a newsletter, at a
newsgroup, and/or another relevant public forum. We appreciate your
help in spreading the word on Manning books!
