If the review says:
* the binding was like oatmeal
* the editing was maybe done (if at all) in a taxi
* the writing was uninformed at best and sometimes just malicious
...then maybe you don't want any more books from that publisher :-)
Otherwise, just try to be constructive, specific, and honest.
"Charming" houses in a "nice neighborhood" that have been "well
maintained" don't fetch a really high price. Similarly, a book with
nothing but vaguely favorable reviews from indentured user-group
members is going to look suspicious.
