So I've got this Rails app, and I've got this shiny new Mac Mini...
and while the one runs on the other, I'm muddling through getting it
to launch at system startup. ("Damn it, Jim, I'm a developer, not a
sysadmin!")
Anyway, if you can help, my company will pay you for a few hours of
your time. In the event that the startup thing only takes half an
hour, I can come up with some other stuff I haven't got round to in my
[extremely part-time] working hours:
- Restricting (MySQL && PostgreSQL) to localhost access only
- Capistranizing the app
- Whatever comes to mind
- ...
- Profit!
I'd prefer to work at my house in SE, but this is a Mini we're talking
about -- if you've got a spare monitor and are within reasonable
biking distance (read: most places on the east side), I can come to
you.
