I agree high speed design support is tops on my wish list.
Second is replacing global edits and selection, at least as an option. I
just tried something the other day again in 2004 and it was another
nightmare to figure out how to globally change something simple again. I
wont get into the details.
Third is speed up the reaction time between my fingers and a 3 Gig pc with a
pcb file. The response time is really frustrating. Sometimes when I am in
the zone, I get several keystrokes ahead of the display and I have no idea
what the pcb is doing until it hoses up my design.
Forth is fix the online DRC errors. If you thought the online DRCs were
slow in 99SE , DXP04 makes 99SE look like lightning on the same pc. Also
unconnected nets online does not function, it was removed from the program
entirely. That was a really really really bad move. Did I say that it was
really really bad? I mean really really really bad. What were the bad boys
at Altium thinking about?

And ...last bring back the cam manager or setup. I have customers I send pcb
files to. The pcb file no longer self contains any output setup. Therefore
every time I transfer PCs which is about 3 times a week, I have to set it up
again.
That really sucks. It also sucks when I am on the phone trying to explain
to someone how to setup the gerber outputs.

Slots.....I know its not supported but drawing them in the pcb file isn't
such a big deal. I agree it would be a really cool feature. I would like
to see it also but it not at the top of my list

Mike- Not by a long shot! Where is all the support for high speed design?
It's not in Protel and certainty not in Electra!
