[PEDA] protel 98 dxf patch?

I seem to remember that there was a patch for Protel 98 to fix a DXF export 
problem.  Of course now that I'm having trouble exporting to DXF I can't 
find the patch.  Can anyone confirm (or deny) the existence of such a patch?

If I export from PCB 2.8, AutoCAD LT 2000i has no problem.  From Protel 98, 
AutoCAD refuses to process the file.  The error message is: Improper color 
number 0 for Layer on line 18.
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.

Any ideas much appreciated.
