That works too, but is clumsy as I'm re-routing to optimze a layout. I sometimes find it easier to re-use exsisting tracks for new signals. I guess I was spoiled by Allegro and Unicad. Both tools made this a very simple On-the-fly procedure. Sigh....

Maybe after this has been done, somebody else can create a script to change the net name of a connected set of tracks already laid down.?
These are tracks that were laid, but the signals assigned to the pins is now different? Use the netlist manager - assign net names to connected copper. It will redo all tracks and vias for the whole board.
