Can't really answer your query but have you studied the DXP Version
control Tutorial on the Altium website? It is a 12 page PDF document on using
the version control system.

Has anybody used the Version Control System in DXP SP2 and actually got it
to work? We're attempting to try it out here and I don't seem to be able to
get the menus to appear, let alone to play with it. Needless to say, online
help doesn't provide much of an aid...
Either I'm missing something fundamental, or it just does not work in the
slightest.
